Shalom!
The calendar is about to turn its' page and become Kislev 25! Even as nightfall deepens, the steady ticking of the clock ushers in Hanukkah - the Festival of Light! It is impossible to ignore the beauty of this Jewish Festival...while the daylight lessens in quantity of minutes, the Light of this Festival Shines and warms the hearts of all who see Her Candles Lit...each evening as the sun sets another Candle will be added to the one/ones preceding it...all lit by the Shamash Candle which stands proudly in the center of the Menorah...
The story of Hanukkah is so moving and meaningful...the refusal to desecrate G-d's Commands any longer...a family who stood up for the G-d of Israel and His Word...who rallied others to fight along with them to purge the Land of G-d of the enemy that has fought against Him for all the history of our world...oil that should have lasted only one day...but burned without wavering for eight nights...
Think of Him as you celebrate and honor this Festival...it seems as if this particular Moedim/Feast of the L-rd perfectly tells the Story of His People...fighting those who would destroy Her and all that He has commanded for Her...surviving many thousands of years against all the forces of hell that have arrayed themselves against Her over these countless centuries...her Light never goes out...She stands proudly today...basking in His Light...restored to Her Homeland exactly as He said She would be...
Yechezk'el/Ezekiel 37 tells us of the "Dry Bones"...and the coming to life of these "dry bones"....we know that the Dry Bones Prophecy is a symbolism for Israel...that Her "birth in a day's time" started the process of the "sinew forming on these dry bones"...and that day by day...month by month...year by year...flesh is forming on the sinew that has already grown on the bone...She is being molded in His Good Plan and Purpose for Her...after all She has been called by Him to be" Or La Goyim" - Light to the World...Shine She Will!
I would not want to be the one who tried to douse Her Light...the Creator of the Universe has called Her His Beloved...and He has promised to fight for Her against any who come against Her...when He Roars, those who have aligned themselves against Him and His Beloved will find themselves facing His Vengeance...
Listen with me for His Roar as you light each Candle! The G-d who watches Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps! Hineyni Lo Yanun Ve Lo Yishan...Shomer Yisrael! Tehellim/Psalm 121:4

Time and Truth
Shalom!
Time...
This night, the Shabbat, marks the Rosh Hodesh/Head of the Month for month of Cheshvan... Tishri and the Three Fall Feasts of the L-rd are now concluded and we move into a new month whose name is also called "Mar Cheshvan"...Mar means "bitter" an allusion to the fact that the month contains no festive days...Mar also means "water"...alluding to the month's special connection with rains and the Great Flood...on the 7th of Cheshvan, the Jews begin to pray for rains in Israel...on the 17th of Cheshvan, the Great Flood began...
After the joyful Rosh HaShanah...the extremely somber Yom Kippur...and the rejoicing of Succoth, this month enters silently...with little fanfare...and no festive days to mark it...hence it is called "Mar Cheshvan"...expressing the bitter fact that there are no Feasts or Festive Days to honor during this 30 day cycle...
HaShem is concerned about time...this can clearly be seen in the observance of the Rosh Hodesh/New Moon and Head of the Month...Every month, when the sliver of the New Moon appeared, the L-rd commanded Israel to hold a Festival with sacrifices and offerings (B'midbar/Numbers 28: 11-15)...
The entire biblical Jewish Calendar is Lunar based...as opposed to solar...this gives an accurate estimation of the monthly cycle...whereas the Solar System focuses on the annual path of the son, the lunar calendar gives heed to monthly status of the moon and its' various stages...Rosh Hodesh - the starting point of the Lunar cycle - is symbolic of light being born into darkness...
The Jewish day begins at sundown, seeingly to express G-d's intention for the world to move from darkness to light ...not vice versa..."So there was evening and morning, one day." (B'resheet/Genesis 1:5)...
Leave it to mankind to change G-d's calendar to just the opposite of what He said!...Yet regardless of this, the simple fact is that time marches on...minute by minute...hour by hour...day by day...His Word tells us to "number our days and walk in wisdom in this present age"...let us use Rosh Hodesh to evaluate how we walk with Him...then when Messiah comes, we will be confident that we fully sought to do our Master's work...
Truth:
A wise man said that "evil" spelled backward is "live"...and "devil" spelled backward is "lived"...understanding this is crucial to your life path...the word "Truth" in Hebrew is "Emet"...while English requires 4 lettes to spell this word, the Hebrew alef bet needs only three: an aleph, a mem, and a tav...here is an amazing insight: in the Hebrew alef bet, the "Aleph" is the first letter; the "Mem" is the middle letter; and the "Tav" is the last letter...first...middle...last...everything in begun..centered...and ended on: Truth

Shalom!
We are now in the Ten Days of Awe - today is Tishrei 9...Kol Nidrei ushers in Yom Kippur tomorrow evening/Tishrei 10. I feel awful tonight. I had prayed that I would use these 10 Days to really focus on what needs changed in my life...so that I can serve G-d more fully...be a much better Christian woman..."take away the Dross, L-rd - leave the silver"...today I failed miserably.
I confess to you that I have no idea how to get along with some people that I care deeply about...that I love as brothers and sisters who are walking along with me on this Journey to Bless Israel...today's confrontation has left me drained and weary...
I teach everyone that comes to my life and wants to understand The Jewish Roots of the Faith that once G-d calls you to this walk, you must not turn away...hence my pain and sadness that once again I find myself not knowing how to close off the failures and move forward with a clean and pure heart...
It is difficult to try to mesh individuals with different temperaments and personalities...I have told all my friends and loved ones that there are times that I am "bitchy" and must just be left alone to work through whatever is bothering me...thankfully, most of them accept that aspect of my personality and allow me to work through whatever issues I am dealing with...I don't like this about myself at all...but I am now 65 and know that this is part of me...a part of me that I am not proud of...
So, tonight...well, really early this new day as it is after midnight now, I am wrestling with how to resolve a thorny issue with a dear friend... a friend that I only want to help but don't know quite how to do so...a friend that I never want to hurt...but with whom I find myself in recurring arguements and painful displays of anger with...none of this is right...none of it is what I want to be - especially in these 10 Days when tshuvah/repentance is so critical and introspection mandatory...
The irony of today's sadness is that it comes after a preceeding day of much joy and rewards poured out by The G-d of Israel and His Blessings...that is what makes this so sad...He has been so good and I have failed so badly...
Kol Nidrei ushers in Yom Kippur - the Great Day of Atonement...Kol Nidrei allows us to confess and forego situations that we either found or got ourselves into that we want to extricate ourselves from in this New Year. I will be in Synagogue tonight...asking Him to help me forge ahead with the plans He has for my life...and praying that somehow I can change and overcome those painful situations that I found myself in today.
Be at peace! We have the promise of forgiveness in Him who loved us enough to send His Only Begotten Son to die for our sins...the Azazel and the Sacrifice...with His Blood we are healed and spared...the Blood in Egypt that night of the Exodus was placed over the door of the house....it formed a perfect "HEY" - the Hebrew Letter that is part of His Name: Yud Hey Vav Hey - the unutterable name of the Most High G-d of Israel...I will lie down and sleep tonight...confident in the forgiveness that He provided for failures like today...and rest in His Arms to awake to a new day in which I will try to do much better.
May you and your loved ones be inscribed for a healthy and wonderful year!

Is This The Year?

Rosh HaShana 5771 is about to be ushered in...Yom Teruah, the Festival of the Trumpet Blast...Tishrei 1, 5771...the New Year that G-d Himself announced in Vayikra/Leviticus 23:23-25:
"Adonai said to Moshe, 'Tell the people of Isra'el, in the Seventh Month, the first day of the month is to be for you a day of complete rest and remembering....a holy convocation announced with blasts on the Shofar. Do not do any kind of ordinary work, and bring an offering made by fire to Adonai.'"
The Hebrew word "ROSH" means "head"..."HA" means "the"..."SHANA" means "year" - "Rosh HaShanah: Head of the Year.
The Fall Feasts of the L-rd now fall in rapid sequence: Rosh HaShanah is followed 10 days later by Yom Kippur/Day of Atonement, which falls on Tishrei 10...which is then followed by Succoth/Feast of Tabernacles, which falls on Tishrei 15 and runs for 7 days until Tishrei 22...these Fall Feasts are "The Later Rain" that the Prophet Yoel/Joel speaks of...."The Early Rains" are the first Three Feasts - the Spring Feasts: Pesach/Passover on Nisan 14...Cha HaMatzat/Unleavened Bread on Nisan 15 and HaBikkurim/FirstFruits on Nisan 16...the Omer is then counted for 50 days until Shavuot/Sivan 6...
All of these Feasts point to Him...the Messiah...the Son of G-d and the Son of Man...perfect portrayal...The Spring Feasts...The Early Rains of Yoel...Pesach/the Paschal Lamb "slain from the foundation of the World" as He was Crucified and His Blood Shed for the sins of the world...Cha HaMatzat as He was "wrapped in a white linen cloth and hidden away to be found later" as He was Buried in the borrowed tomb...HaBikkurim as He Arose on the Third Day...the FirstFruits of those who sleep...the Aviv Barley Sheaf presented in the Temple as a Wave Offering...
He appeared to many, we are told during those following 40 days until His Ascension...multiple hundreds of Jews living in Yerushalayim saw Him...and they saw long dead loved ones whose graves had been suddenly and miraculously opened when He arose on that first Resurrection Day...by the way, the FIRST day of the week is not Sunday AM...the FIRST DAY of the week commences at SUNDOWN following the COMPLETION of the SHABBAT which is Sundown FRIDAY to Sundown SATURDAY...the FIRST DAY then begins at SUNDOWN Saturday night which is why we are told that Miriam and the other women ran to His tomb "as it began to dawn on the FIRST DAY of the week"...
After those 40 Days when He was visible to so many hundreds of those living in Yerushalayim, He told the Talmidim/Disciples that "it was better for Him to return to His Father so that the COMFORTER/RUACH would come"...and so, 10 days after His Return to His Father, the Feast of Shavuot dawned with "tongues of fire" appearing over the heads of those Jewish Men gathered in the Temple as they had been taught...symbolic for the RUACH being poured out on those Jewish men assembled in Yerushalayim as the Regalim Feasts commanded "Jewish men to appear before G-d in His Temple with an offering of the new grain of their crops"...that is why there were "men from every nation and land in Jerusalem"...it was SHAVUOT and ALL Jewish Men KNEW that they were to appear before G-d in His Temple with an offering on this day...Shavuot: the Feast of Weeks...the Spring Feasts...the Spring Rains...perfect portrayal and fulfillment in His Life, Death and Resurrection...
The Fall Feasts...the Later Rains of Yoel now unfold symbolically and prophetically...perfect portrayal in His Second Coming...Rosh HaShanah/Yom Teruah...Tishrei 1...the Great Trumpet Blast we are told that G-d Himself will sound to announce the Return of His Beloved Son...the Church calls this "The Rapture" of His Bride...the equal wave offering of Jew and Gentile Believers...then the 10 days of Awe between Yom Teruah and the Yom Kippur/The Day of Atonement...
On this most solemn of all days of the year the Cohen HaGadol/High Priest was to enter the Holy of Holies to make atonement for the Nation of Israel AFTER he had made atonement for himself by the shedding of blood...the goat slaughtered for his sins...the scapegoat sent away into the desert bearing the sins of the Nation...we think of Him when He went into the Desert after Yochanan immersed Him in the Desert of Judea...in the River Jordan that runs through this beautiful land from north to south...He, like the Azazal/Scapegoat, went into the wilderness carrying our sins and the sins of those who seek Him...He was actually both sacrifices: the blood sacrifice G-d required for the remission of sins...and the substitutionary sacrifice carrying our sins into the wilderness never to be recalled again...Oh the miracle of forgiveness...to know that when we come to Him asking for our sins to be forgiven, He not only forgives, but we are told that He "remembers our sins against us no more"...that they are as far as "the east is from the west"...there are not enough words to express our thanksgiving for this gift of forgiveness...
Yom Kippur...the most solemn and holy day of the year...only on this day did the Cohen HaGadol pronounce "The Name" - and even then it was the Tetragamatron - Yud Hey Vav Hay: YHVH..His Name was and is so sacred that it was never pronounced...the unutterable name of The Most High...He will come for Israel on this day...His Children will sit Shiva for Him as they "look on Him who was pierced for them"...His Brothers and Sisters will see Him...will look on Him and all of the thousands of years of history...of Tanak writings...of journeys...of pogroms...of sufferings...of Holocaust...of terror attacks...of wars...all of those years will melt away in an instant as He reveals Himself to them...just as Yosef did with his 11 Brothers in Egypt...then the G-d of Creation and His Messiah Son will do battle against the forces of hell that have long harmed the Jews - the Apple of His Eye - His Beloved Land and Children...and bind these demons in the hell for which they were created...
Then the Succoth...Feast of Tabernacles...will be ushered in...Yeshua said of Himself that "I tabernacle with men"...his physical, earthly birthdate is Succoth...not December 25 which the Church world has long believed is the date of His Birth...G-d's miraculous conception of His Son was 6 months after Elisheva became pregnant with His Forerunner: Yochanan...we know these dates from the record David made of the Temple Service and the Order of Priests on duty in the Temple...Yeshua was conceived on the Festival of Light/Chanukah/Kislev 25: "I am The Light of the World" and born on the Feast of Succoth/Tishrei 15: "I Tabernacle with men"...perfect symbolism...perfect perfection...
We are told to "watch for His Return" and to be "like the 5 Wise Virgins" who "did not let their lamps go out"...as such, we watch for Him...we watch the Heavens...the Cloud formations that we are told He will appear on...the "Flash of Lightening" as from the East to the West....the King of Kings coming on that beautiful white steed for HIS BRIDE...to take Her Home to the "place He went to prepare a place for Her" as the "Bridegroom prepares for His Bride"...the place we will celebrate the Wedding Feast/Marriage Supper of the Lamb with Him Who WAS...and IS...and IS TO COME!
If this Rosh HaShanah is the day He calls us Home, we will meet on the "other side" - safe for all Eternity in His Home...never to suffer again...never to know pain...never to know loss...never to know hurt...never to know rejection...never to know want...never to know need...never to leave His Presence...
If this is not the date of our Homegoing, we have much work to do in The Vineyard until He does call us home...if this is the case, let us "gird up our loins" as His Word teaches and really get about significant matters: His Word...His Land...His Children...His Purpose and Plan for the life He has given us...let us renew our minds with the Jewish Roots of our Faith...so that we KNOW HIM as HE WAS...a Jewish Man who kept and observed and fulfilled every aspect of the Teachings of the Torah He wrote with His Finger...and let us not become weary in well doing, for we shall reap in good season...let us put our hands to the plow and work the works we were created to do...
May you and your loved ones have your names safely recorded in The Lamb's Book of Life for all Eternity! All praise to our Coming Conquering King! Pele Yoetz! El Gibor! Avi Ad! Sar Shalom! On this most solemn of all days of the year the Cohen HaGadol/High Priest was to enter the Holy of Holies to make atonement for the Nation of Israel AFTER he had made atonement for himself by the shedding of blood...the goat slaughtered for his sins...the scapegoat sent away into the desert bearing the sins of the Nation...we think of Him when He went into the Desert after Yochanan immersed Him in the Desert of Judea...in the River Jordan that runs through this beautiful land from north to south...He, like the Azazal/Scapegoat, went into the wilderness carrying our sins and the sins of those who seek Him...He was actually both sacrifices: the blood sacrifice G-d required for the remission of sins...and the substitutionary sacrifice carrying our sins into the wilderness never to be recalled again...Oh the miracle of forgiveness...to know that when we come to Him asking for our sins to be forgiven, He not only forgives, but we are told that He "remembers our sins against us no more"...that they are as far as "the east is from the west"...there are not enough words to express our thanksgiving for this gift of forgiveness...

Then the Succoth...Feast of Tabernacles...will be ushered in...Yeshua said of Himself that "I tabernacle with men"...his physical, earthly birthdate is Succoth...not December 25 which the Church world has long believed is the date of His Birth...G-d's miraculous conception of His Son was 6 months after Elisheva became pregnant with His Forerunner: Yochanan...we know these dates from the record David made of the Temple Service and the Order of Priests on duty in the Temple...Yeshua was conceived on the Festival of Light/Chanukah/Kislev 25: "I am The Light of the World" and born on the Feast of Succoth/Tishrei 15: "I Tabernacle with men"...perfect symbolism...perfect perfection...
We are told to "watch for His Return" and to be "like the 5 Wise Virgins" who "did not let their lamps go out"...as such, we watch for Him...we watch the Heavens...the Cloud formations that we are told He will appear on...the "Flash of Lightening" as from the East to the West....the King of Kings coming on that beautiful white steed for HIS BRIDE...to take Her Home to the "place He went to prepare a place for Her" as the "Bridegroom prepares for His Bride"...the place we will celebrate the Wedding Feast/Marriage Supper of the Lamb with Him Who WAS...and IS...and IS TO COME!
If this Rosh HaShanah is the day He calls us Home, we will meet on the "other side" - safe for all Eternity in His Home...never to suffer again...never to know pain...never to know loss...never to know hurt...never to know rejection...never to know want...never to know need...never to leave His Presence...
If this is not the date of our Homegoing, we have much work to do in The Vineyard until He does call us home...if this is the case, let us "gird up our loins" as His Word teaches and really get about significant matters: His Word...His Land...His Children...His Purpose and Plan for the life He has given us...let us renew our minds with the Jewish Roots of our Faith...so that we KNOW HIM as HE WAS...a Jewish Man who kept and observed and fulfilled every aspect of the Teachings of the Torah He wrote with His Finger...and let us not become weary in well doing, for we shall reap in good season...let us put our hands to the plow and work the works we were created to do...

Even The Stones Cry Out

Today is Elul 17, 5770. We are only 13 days from Rosh HaShanah...the Feast of Trumpets...the 4th of the 7 Moedim/Appointed Times "Feasts of the L-rd" that HaShem commanded ALL mankind EVERYWHERE...for ALL ETERNITY...to meet with HIM...sometimes when I contemplate the Jewish Roots of the Faith that I spend hours studying and trying to share with all those I meet, I wonder HOW will it ever be that the "Church World" will come to fully understand what the writings of Vayikra/Leviticus 23:23 mean for US as Christians...this passage records what G-d spoke to Moshe about this Feast of Trumpets...the entire 23rd chapter of Vayikra/Leviticus records what the Moedim/Appointed Times "Feasts of the L-rd" mean and how they are to be celebrated...honored...as HIS TIMES that HE commands US to meet with HIM...these Feasts are such a representation and fulfillment of the entire story that G-d has written in every element of His Creation...they each correspond to a particular agricultural season...a particular sacrificial system...a memorial of the Shed Blood of The Lamb Slain From The Foundation Of The World...and they are each perfectly and symmetrically shown in The Heavens by the rotations and placement of the very Universe that He Created...it is totally overwhelming...there is no answer for any of it without Him...
Tonight Bill and I were driving home just as it began to really become "dusk" and the Shabbat begin...we were sitting at a red light right next to a large Cemetery...I looked at all the graves and headstones I saw from my window and thought: what will it be like when He Comes and EVERY grave - since the foundation of the Earth - is opened and EVERYONE on the Earth and IN the SEA is resurrected to face Their Creator...The Word tells us that "Every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is L-rd" - then I looked up at the sky and tried to imagine it being filled from end to end with the billions of individuals who will be watching Adonai as His Presence fills the Heavenly Temple of G-d from one end to the other...how can we even imagine what that will be like...every soul ever created from Alef to the Tav of the World crying HOLY, HOLY, HOLY to Him Who IS and Who WAS and Who HAS COME! All Glory to Him!
It's fitting that this Shabbat there is a Miracle to report from The Land He Loves and Calls The Apple of His Eye...out of the ashes of the Holocaust has come a most amazing story...while Anne Frank and her family were in hiding from the Nazis in Amsterdam, a Chestnut Tree was the only sight that greeted this young woman daily...it became her sustenance until these murderers from hell killed her and her family in the crematoriums of Hitler's Hell...this tree that she memorialized in her Diary just recently fell...it was decayed and had rotted through...inside the tree trunk was a seedling of this tree that had seen the deportation of so many of Holland's Jews including Anne Frank...and here is where the miracle begins...over 65 years after the murder of over 6 million Jews, life is being reborn...allow me to write exactly what was shared with me by one of the modern day Lions and Lionesses of Judah to whom G-d has bestowed this miraculous sign...in his own words:
"My name is Nati Yeyni, and I am a history teacher at the "Ohel Shem" high school in Ramat Gan, Israel. Around the date when the intention to cut down the Anne Frank tree was made public, I was teaching in my class the subject of The Holocaust, and, as part of it, the story of Anne Frank. The subject of the Holocaust is regularly taught here every year in the 11th and 12th grade. As for the place where the tree will be planted: the chestnut tree is a tree that grows in a cold climate, and therefore cannot simply be planted in any place. We therefore chose the community of Ramot Naftali in the Galilee. Yet the central reason for this choice is the fact that Major Eitan Belachsan, who served as Commander of the Paratroopers Reconnaissance Unit of the Israeli Defense Forces, was born and raised in this community. Eitan was killed in battle with Southern Lebanon on 22 February 1999. Throughout his military career, Eitan was an example for his soldiers and required of them the same traits that he required of himself: honesty, meticulousness, reliability, attention to detail, strong self-discipline and striving for excellence. We expect our students to follow these principles and ideals. Eitan symbolizes the fundamental essence of the Israeli experience, and in his death - the ceaseless battl for the protection and existence of the State of Israel.
The connection between the Holocaust and revival, between Anne Frank and Eitan Belachsan, symbolizes most of all the story of the Zionist project. The transition between a helpless and hopeless era in history to one in which the Jewish People controls its own destiny and future, and sends the best of its children to protect its homeland. The Jewish People whose roots are planted in the land of Israel.
The connection with the Belachsan family and the choice for planting the tree was made with the assistance of Brigadier General (ret.) Gal Hirsch, who is personally acquainted with the Belachsan family. Eitan Belachsan was Hirsch's subordinate in the Israeli Defense Forces. Brigadier General (ret.) False Prophets
Shalom!
The Church of Yeshua Ha Masiach is under attack. I am not sure if these attacks are worse than when He walked the Earth...but I am sure that they are fierce and unrelenting...and I am sure that it is time the Bride of Messiah stood up and said "Enough!"...we may not be able to stop the attacks as we are told by Yeshua Himself that in the "last days" things would get progressively worse until people cried out for the mountains to fall on them...today I feel as though that is the place we find ourselves...
Men and women who call themselves "Pastors or Prophets" are all the rage in today's church world...in The Book, G-d said that anyone who called himself/herself a Prophet and gave a message of prophecy that never materialized should forfeit his/her life...yet how many such people are there today who speak words they call prophetic with no accountability or consequence for their words...
The "Prosperity Gospel" is preached across the entire spectrum of today's Church World....it goes something like this: "if you give me your money for things I say are important you will reap much more money than you give to me" - or I have even heard some of today's Prosperity Gospel Pastors say "give me your money and when you get home later, you will find all the money you need in your home"....when these poor fools have given all their hard earned monies to these crooks, and return to their homes only to find no such monies waiting for them there, they are told that they must be "sinning" in some area of their lives...or that they didn't "trust" G-d enough to bless them with money...things like that...in my Grandparents Day, it was called "snake oil sales"...today these Prosperity Gospel pastors make MILLIONS of dollars off their parishioners...live lives of the rich and famous...commit adultery and destroy their homes and families...sell their books and products to those gullible Christians who actually believe these charlatan lies...it is unbelievable...and it is deadly...
One of these charlatans, Paula White and her "former" husband Randy White have made a career out of this type of multi level lying...all the while stealing their parishioners monies and running up debts of well over $40 MILLION dollars that their "Church" is supposed to somehow come up with the money to repay...I was in Tampa in 2008 when the "Paula and Randy White" scandal hit...the headlines of the Tampa Tribune on the FRONT PAGE of that paper filled the entire top half of the first page...and the story ran 4-5 FULL PAGES in addition to the front page...complete with photos of their homes and life style living...and of the church they had destroyed with their greed and lies...now, today, nearly 2 years later, Paula is all the rage again...she is asked to speak at national conventions as a "Christian Pastor and Author"...she is allowed to "pastor" a church again...as is Randy White...even though they both are divorced several times now...and engaged in "other relationships" as they say...the latest Paula rumor is that she and Benny Hinn...yes, Benny Hinn that world renowned "faith healer" whose life style and parishioner money grabbing schemes make Paula and Randy look like street beggars...THAT Benny Hinn...are rumored to be "keeping company" in some of the exotic far away places that Benny has several of his many homes...alas they were photographed in their rendezvous while "vacationing" together...but it gets even better...they BOTH went to the VATICAN to see THE POPE...now there's a real can of worms...what do you suppose went on there??? "When in Rome" was the slogan LONG before "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas"...so much for the Vatican's complacency in all these matters...they have long been known to have amassed MULTIPLE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS from THEIR parishioners...

Reaping what we have sown...

There comes a moment in time when you are faced with the full force of reality...the black and white stand in stark contrast to each other...there is absolutely no gray...I believe we are that moment...staring into the abyss of what has become of our Nation...realizing that it is impossible to restore what has been lost...
September 11 is rapidly approaching...and with it what I believe was the line in the sand that was crossed which has brought us to this precipice...and started our rapid descent into the abyss we now find ourselves free-falling into...
The dye was cast at the National Memorial Service for the victims of this terrorist attack on our Nation...President Bush uttered the lie the first time then...when I heard him say it while watching it on the live TV coverage I thought to myself 'surely I didn't just hear him say that'...then he repeated it several more times in his remarks...obliterating any doubt that my hearing was failing me...

The stark truth of this has been laid bare for me this week...the first time when I forced myself to watch 65 photos showing the horrific treatment of women in Afghanistan by the Taliban our US Soldiers are fighting...the second time when the NYC Landmark Commission ruled that a mosque could be built at Ground Zero - and a Jewish Billionaire Mayor not only applauded this decision, but actually lobbied for the decision - ...the third time tonight as I again forced myself to watch a one hour special on the 'honor killing' murder of two sisters by their father in Texas...the common denominator in each of these: Islam...
President Bush was the first President to continually repeat the lie that one of his speechwriters penned for this inauspicious occasion...he is responsible for injecting it into the every day mainstream media...a media who gladly picked up this mantra and has repeated it over and over and over for the last 10 years...until they are so adept at the lie that they can look you straight in the camera eye and repeat it without even a wince...
Today's occupant of the highest office of our Nation never misses a beat when he repeats it...he is the epitome and fulfillment of the lie...and thousands of our fellow citizens here - and peoples of other Nations and Governments around the world - fight to see who can repeat it more often...all of them so glib in their delivery of the lie that it sucks the breath out of your body...

Tell that to the women of Afghanistan and other muslim nations who are forced into 'marriage' at the tender age of 6-9 years of age...who undergo female circumcision...whose 'husbands'...fathers...male family members have the right to physically beat and sexually abuse them...who are forced to wear full body coverings with little or no part of their faces shown...who have no freedoms or rights in any aspect of their lives...and who are stoned to death at the whim of those 'male family members' who no longer find them 'useful' for their 'needs'...
Tell that to the family members of the 3000+ men/women/children murdered by the 9/11 terrorists...who are now faced with the physical, gut-wrenching repulsion of having their murderers attest to their dominance over their victims by building a mosque on the very parcels of land their religious indoctrination destroyed...
Tell that to the American Mother of two teenage daughters whose Egyptian muslim husband abused her physically and sexually for over 20 years...who also sexually abused these two daughters...and then who took them in his cab on New Years Day 2008 and shot them repeatedly for 'dishonoring his family name' because they became 'too Americanized' and were dating non-muslim men...

Can this be true you wonder...so have I questioned if this could really be true...yet tonight I SAW and HEARD for myself what the SHERIFF of the Texas town where this 'man' brutally murdered these two daughters said...when questioned by the investigative journalist who has covered this story this 'law enforcement officer' had this to say: "who is to say this is an honor killing? what really is an honor killing? if the girls were disobeying their father's rules there are consequences...we only have the word of the Mother that this was an honor killing...how do we know he really killed these girls?"...

The FBI initially labeled this an "honor killing" and put the father on the Most Wanted List...two days after identifying this as an 'honor killing' those very words were REMOVED from the Most Wanted Poster...the investigative journalist was told that they did not want to 'offend the greater muslim community'...the FBI REFUSED to comment on this case for the one hour special that aired tonight on FOX...

There was a 911 call made by one of the daughters as their father was shooting them...he shot them each over 11 times at point blank range in his cab...you can hear the girl crying...begging her 'father' to stop shooting them...she tells the 911 dispatcher that her 'father' is killing them...as the 911 dispatcher asks her for clarification the only sound you hear is this young woman saying "I am dying'' and the other sister still begging her 'father' to stop...then the line goes dead...
Bear these stories in mind when you consider WHO to vote for in November...when you get emails from me that are painfully hard for me to write and you to read...when you hear about Rifqa Barry being TERRIFIED to go back to her 'parents' as she KNOWS she will be killed EXACTLY as these young women were...when you see or hear this administration speaking about ANYTHING...
